Shoutout to ditching my Wacom for an iPad Pro last year

I used to spend like 20 minutes just plugging in my Wacom tablet and fighting with driver updates before I could even start a sketch. Every time Windows did an update I'd have to restart and pray the pen pressure still worked. Then I borrowed a friend's iPad Pro back in February and did a full portrait in Procreate without even thinking about setup. Now I just grab the iPad, tap the app, and I'm drawing in 10 seconds flat. The whole experience feels way more like a real sketchbook and less like fighting with technology. Has anyone else made the switch and found it changed how often you actually create?

Read a guy in a forum say it cut his prep time in half.

Did you actually try that method yourself, @drewsullivan? I tested a similar shortcut and ended up redoing half the steps because I missed critical details. Cutting prep time is tempting but a lot of those hacks skip important stuff like trimming or seasoning evenly. Better to just set a timer and move faster than trust a random dude online.
