Showerthought: My digital art show got a surprise guest when a squirrel jumped on the power line outside.
The entire gallery display in my living room flickered and died right as I was showing my new series to a client over Zoom, so I had to pivot to explaining the concept using a hastily drawn stick figure on a napkin. Anyone else had a showcase derailed by something completely outside your control?

My old studio in Austin had the worst wiring. I kept a cheap tablet charged and loaded with low-res JPEGs of my portfolio just for brownouts. I mean, it's not ideal, but you can still talk color theory over a pixelated image. Maybe keep a battery pack for your router too.

Honestly, I'd be worried a pixelated image hurts more than it helps. If the power's that bad, a client might question the whole studio's setup. I've seen people lose trust over less. Maybe just reschedule for a coffee shop with solid wifi. A clear image feels more professional than trying to explain a blurry one.

Tbh, simons28's backup tablet idea is solid. Honestly, a squirrel outage is just a funny story later.
