Spent way too long trying to get a specific brush texture to work in Procreate

I wanted this gritty, chalky look for a character's jacket and just could not get the settings right... it took me almost four hours of messing with grain, flow, and stabilization. Anyone have a go-to brush pack for that kind of rough texture?

Check out the True Grit Texture Supply brush packs. Their "Rusty Nib" or "Grain Shop" sets are built for that exact chalky feel. Lower your layer opacity and build up the texture slowly instead of trying to get full coverage in one pass.
