Stopped paying for coworking spaces after a month in Medellin
Realized cafes with good wifi and a $3 coffee are just as productive. Anyone else ditch the expensive memberships for something simpler?

Honestly that cafe plan sounds great until you need to take a call. Tried working from a spot in Laureles last week and the blender for smoothies was going non-stop. Sometimes you just need a quiet, reliable spot for a few hours, which those memberships actually provide. Maybe it's just me but the constant noise and having to pack up for the bathroom is a real drain.

The constant noise and having to pack up for the bathroom" is why my cafe work uniform is noise-canceling headphones and a dehydrated bladder.
