My brother's flooded basement in Akron made me buy a $40 water alarm for every floor drain I own.
Has anyone found a better brand than the simple ones from the hardware store, or is that good enough?

My old one went off for steam from the shower. Got a Nest now, it only yells at me for actual burnt toast.
