Spent $80 on a 'smart' thermostat and it's just a dumb headache
I thought it would save me money, but the app keeps losing connection to my wifi. I've had to reset the thing three times this week already. Anyone know a reliable brand that actually works?

Man I was all in on that smart home stuff a few years back. Totally bought the hype about saving money and making things easier. After the third time my own unit froze up and left me with no heat overnight, I got over it real fast. Sometimes the simple way is just better, you know?
