Remember when we used to hand-letter all our revision clouds with a pencil? I feel old.

I spent last Thursday cleaning up a set of drawings from a 2018 project and noticed the old foreman had done all his clouds by hand with a rapidograph pen. We have CAD now that does it in seconds but there was something honest about the way those old clouds looked, you know? Does anyone else still keep a manual drafting set around just for quick field sketches?

Did you hear that some architects are actually framing those hand-drawn clouds as art now?

Mine look more like sad ghosts trying to escape.

Hang on, I think @miles946's sad ghosts are way more interesting than some fancy cloud art on a wall. That stuff is just a sketch, not something to frame and sell. Architects draw those clouds to show the sky, but people are acting like it's some deep statement now. Its just a quick hand drawing, not a masterpiece.
