Talked to a retired drafter who still uses his old lead holder

He said he keeps it because the weight in his hand helps him think. It hit different because I've been all digital for years, but now I'm thinking about picking one up just for sketching ideas. Anyone still use old school tools for the first draft?

Wait, lead holder? That's wild. I thought those went out with slide rules. The weight helps him think, that's actually pretty cool. I get it though, sometimes you need to hold the idea in your hand. Makes me miss my old sketching stuff. Might have to dig it out of the garage.
