Yeah but is it the packed schedule itself or the fact there's zero room to fix things when they go wrong? Like the real issue is when management sees a deadline as the only thing that matters, so everyone knows the work is messed up but ships it anyway. That just trains people to accept half done stuff as the new normal. How do you even push back when the whole system is built on hitting dates over doing it right?

But doesn't that just create a cycle where broken processes never get fixed? You end up in constant firefighting mode because the root cause is always ignored. How do you even start to change a culture that rewards shipping fast over shipping well?
