Had a Tuesday last month where everything went wrong - clients canceling, product spill, the works.

I had three clients cancel back to back, then knocked over a $75 bottle of vitamin C serum that shattered on the tile. By noon I was ready to call it a day. But then a walk-in came in for a quick facial and ended up booking a six-session package. That one turn saved my whole week. Has anyone else had a day that flipped completely like that?

Wait, wait... a $75 bottle of vitamin C serum? On the tile? I would have just sat down in the spill and cried right there. Glad it turned around for you though.

Honestly, I had a pretty similar thing happen with a $60 vitamin C oil last winter. I dropped the whole bottle on the bathroom mat and it soaked right in. I was so mad I almost threw the mat away, but I just let it dry out and kept using it on my face and neck. Tbh, it ended up working just as well, like the formula didn't get messed up from the spill or anything. Ngl, I'm still glad I didn't just sit down and cry over it, but I get the impulse.

oh totally felt that in my bones. once had a morning where i was running late, spilled coffee all over my white shirt right before leaving, then got stuck in traffic. i was so over it by the time i got to work. then this grumpy looking lady came in, i gave her a scalp massage during her color treatment, and she literally tipped me $50 and said i saved her week. that one person turned my whole mood around and made me forget the rest of the mess. it's wild how the universe just throws you a bone sometimes when you're about to give up.
