Just saw a report that 65% of people feel they can't control their data online

It was in a Pew Research study I clicked on yesterday. Does anyone actually feel like they have a handle on where their info goes anymore?

That real time location data gets sold to property management companies too. They track foot traffic to set rent prices for stores in a mall. Your phone walking past a shop becomes a data point in a rent hike for a real business.

That Pew number is probably LOW. My friend works at a small marketing firm and they buy "anonymized" location data from apps. They can literally watch crowds form and disperse in real time. We're not just losing control, we're being turned into a live feed.
