Talked to my sister who's a social worker about AI in hiring
She said a system her agency tested kept filtering out resumes with gaps from caregiving, calling it 'unstable employment'. That hit different because it wasn't just a bias talk, it was about real people she helps. Has anyone seen a case where fixing an AI bias actually helped a specific group?

Oh perfect, an AI that punishes people for having a life. Because nothing says 'stable employee' like never needing to help your family, right? Guess we should all just be robots from the start.

Ugh, it's like they want us to have zero human needs anymore.

Yeah, I'm already failing the robot test then.
