Figured out the wrong bus route after 45 minutes of walking last Tuesday
I wasted nearly an hour heading toward the casino stop instead of the mall stop because I didn't check the new schedule sign at the Everett Station, has anyone else had trouble with the route changes this month?

Honestly I don't get the big deal here, the route changes have been posted online and at the station for like two weeks now so it's kind of on you for not checking before heading out. The whole point of updating the schedules is to make things run smoother and if you just walk without looking you're gonna mess up, that's not the bus system's fault. Maybe spending two minutes looking at the map before leaving would save you that hour of wandering around.

Yeah "it's kind of on you" is exactly right. I've been in that same spot before where I missed a bus change and it was my own fault for not paying attention. What I do now is set a reminder on my phone every time they're about to update schedules so I don't forget. Or I just check the app real quick before I even leave the house. Saves a ton of headache compared to wandering around a station like a lost puppy.

Wait, are you serious? That's wild to me that you think spending two whole minutes looking at a map is such a burden lol. I mean I get being frustrated but if you spent those two minutes before leaving you wouldn't have to wander for an hour like some lost sheep. I've definitely been guilty of that before too though, not gonna lie. Its just one of those things where you get so used to the normal route you forget things change and then bam you're stuck. But yeah the bus system here posts updates like a month in advance sometimes so there's really no excuse if you just check your phone real quick.
