Question about flipping used power tools in Phoenix

I bought a beat-up DeWalt drill set for $40 at a Mesa yard sale last month. After cleaning it, replacing the chuck, and listing it on Facebook Marketplace, I sold it for $120 in under 48 hours. The main change was taking better photos in daylight and listing it right before payday weekend. Has anyone else found a specific day or listing trick that speeds up cash sales for tools?

I always list my Milwaukee stuff on Thursday evenings. People get paid and start planning weekend projects, so stuff moves fast by Friday. Good lighting in the pics is a game changer too.

Honestly, the whole timing thing seems like superstition. I sold a circular saw at 10 AM on a Tuesday to a guy who just needed it that day. @the_morgan might have luck on Thursdays, but buyers are looking all the time. If your price is right and the photos are clear, it sells. Waiting for a specific day just means your listing sits there for no good reason.

My buddy listed a drill press on a Monday morning and it sold in two hours...
