Had a neighbor offer to 'help' with my post hole digger yesterday...

I was putting up a privacy fence in my yard when my neighbor came over to chat. He grabbed the digger to show me how it's done and immediately hit a buried sprinkler line, soaking us both. What's the best way to politely keep bystanders from 'helping' during a fence job?

Try putting up a sign that says 'EXPERT Dig Zone, AMATEURS Will Get SOAKED.' After that sprinkler incident, I'd be handing out ponchos as a warning. Nothing says 'back off' like a potential geyser in your face. Maybe your neighbor will think twice before grabbing tools next time. Or just let him try again and enjoy the free shower.
