Tried a new airlock style after my old one kept getting gunked up

Switched from a basic S-shaped bubbler to a three-piece airlock for my kimchi, and the difference in how clean it stays is huge. Anyone else find one type way easier to deal with for messy ferments?

Doubt it's worth stressing over the type. A little overflow never hurt a batch of mine. Just clean it when you're done.

So the three-piece doesn't get clogged at all? My kraut always bubbles over into the S-lock.

Oh man, I feel your pain with those messy S-locks! The three-piece ones are a total Game changer for my sauerkraut.
