I just hit 500 orders for my custom dried flower wreaths this year, which is wild because I only started offering them in March.

Has anyone else seen a specific niche product just completely take off, and what did you do to keep up with the demand?

That's a crazy fast ramp up... congrats. My friend makes custom pet portraits and it blew up on tiktok last fall. She had to stop taking new orders for a month just to catch her breath. Getting a clear system down for each step of the order was the only way she didn't drown. It meant making some templates and saying no to super custom requests for a while.

I read a blog post about scaling art businesses that @mia_murray1 might find useful.

Actually my cousin does pet portraits too, and she found that stopping orders completely hurt her momentum. She switched to a waitlist with clear 8-week lead times instead, which kept the buzz going. The key for her was hiring a high school art student to help with basic background fills, so she could focus on the pet's face details.
