Why I Now Swear by Greenery After a Catastrophic Corsage Incident
I always thought extra greenery in corsages was a waste (like, who needs more green when you have flowers, right?). But then at a school prom, a corsage I made fell right off a wrist and into the punch bowl. The absurd part is that it floated there, and kids started calling it the 'magic flower island'! I realized without sturdy greens, the flowers had no support. Now, I always add a bit of fern or eucalyptus for balance. It keeps everything in place and looks way better. Funny how a silly accident made me change my whole approach.

Lol same, I use baby's breath as a backup anchor now.

Hey @sarahburns, the baby's breath backup anchor idea is brilliant. I started doing that after my tomatoes kept falling over last season. It's surprising how well those tiny roots hold things in place (way better than you'd expect for such a cheap plant). Solidarity on the garden hack front.

Pretty sure baby's breath is out here doing my job for me. Who knew such a delicate flower could be so tough?
