Tried boiling my pasta in broth instead of water for a year, total game changer.
I got the idea from a cooking show in Chicago and did a side by side test with plain salted water. The broth pot gave the noodles way more flavor from the inside out, not just sauce on top. Anyone else tried this or got a better simple pasta trick?

You boil pasta in broth? I just burned my last pot of water. Seriously though, what kind of broth works best? I've got some sad chicken stock in my cabinet that needs a purpose.

Oh man, burning water is a special kind of kitchen defeat. That sad chicken stock is perfect though, it'll give the pasta a nice flavor without being too strong. Just dilute it a bit with water if it's super salty.
