Just blew $300 on a 'high heat' face shield that fogged up in 10 minutes

Saw an ad for this new 'Crystal View' shield that promised no fog even in the core room, so I bought one for the big pour next week. Tried it out yesterday during a test run and it was completely useless, had to switch back to my old one halfway through. What do you guys actually use that WON'T fog up on you?

Ugh, this is EVERYWHERE now! It feels like every product is just marketing hype with zero real world testing. I've had the same thing happen with work gloves and boots that totally failed. You just can't trust the ads anymore.

Remember when products used to fail after years of honest use? Now they fall apart right after you finish reading the five star reviews written by the marketing team. My last pair of "tough" boots dissolved in a light rain, like they were made of sugar. At this point, the only thing getting real world testing is my patience.

You ever notice how the warranty period is basically a countdown timer now? Bought a power tool that died ONE WEEK after the 90 day warranty. It's like they have it down to a science. Makes you wonder if the real product is just the marketing itself.
