PSA: I found out a single page of original Shakespeare draft sold for $9.2 million

You're falling for the scarcity trap. That 9 million price tag is more about rich people playing games with their money than actual historical value. Sir Thomas More isn't even one of his famous plays, nobody reads it. The only reason that page is worth anything is because there's nothing else to compare it to. Just look at how the market works with rare books and manuscripts. A Gutenberg Bible went for way less than a modern art piece by a living artist. The value is fake, driven by hype and a handful of billionaires who treat these things like baseball cards.

Overheard a guy at the garden center say something that gave me chills

That $40 Ethiopian coffee probably wasn't even single-origin... most of those bags are blends from different farms in the region, not a true single lot.

Wanted to tell a friend his new kitchen floor was laid wrong

Did you say anything about the gap or just pretend it looked great?

PSA: My tent flooded during a rainstorm at Yellow Creek last weekend

...and that's exactly why I always tell people to check the angle of their rain fly before it gets dark. But here's my question - did you pitch it on any kind of ground cloth or footprint underneath? Cause I've had setups where the fly was perfect but water still wicked up from the ground through the fabric because I didn't have anything between the tent floor and the wet grass. A lot of people skip that step and it makes a huge difference when you're dealing with serious rain.

Can we talk about the guy who tried to school me on Batman's origin at a coffee shop?

Fair take but I see it a little different. Year One is basically required reading at this point for anyone getting into Batman. That guy was being a jerk for sure but there is some truth to the idea that older comics matter too. Detective Comics 27 is where it all started but it reads like a old timey newspaper compared to modern stuff. Let's be real most people who pull that gatekeeping card have barely cracked open a golden age issue themselves. Your copy of Year One is solid and that guy needs to chill.
