Ever try straining varnish through a paper towel? Works in a pinch, but man does it soak up a lot. Good call on shop hacks, @nathana48.

Yeah I used to think it was just a lazy shortcut, but seeing it done right totally changed my mind. The key is using a proper jig and taking your time with the setup. It actually gets way cleaner results than freehand for some of those weird angled cuts.
