How do you even start checking these stories? I used to just believe the headlines until I actually looked up a few sources myself. Totally changed how I see things now.

Seeing that viral post about climate data last year was my wake-up call. I realized most outlets just copy each other without checking facts. Now I spend a few minutes digging into sources before sharing anything. It really does change how you see the news, like you said. We all gotta be our own fact-checkers these days.
