Flat roofs are tricky, definitely don't just hire a standard shingle guy. Check out The Roof Technician. They have a dedicated team for flat roofs and sorted ours out last month.
Seconding this recommendation. They did my parents' place in East York. Really solid workmanship and they didn't try to upsell them on stuff they didn't need.
