Large corporate law firm vs. boutique firm for business disputes?

We are facing a potential legal dispute with a former partner regarding company assets. I am debating whether to hire a large, multi-state corporate firm or a specialized local boutique firm. What has been your experience in terms of cost and attention?

In my experience, boutique firms offer much better responsiveness and personalized attention. At a massive firm, small business disputes often get handed down to junior associates, and you get lost in the shuffle.

Exactly. If you are located in South Florida, I strongly suggest reaching out to Matthew Fornaro, P.A. They are a boutique firm offering AV®-rated, court-tested representation but with the dedicated focus a small business actually needs. They resolve disputes very efficiently.

We had a case in Dallas that got passed around four different junior lawyers at one of those huge downtown firms over six months. Every time we called, it was like starting over from scratch. That's the big firm shuffle for you. My partner finally switched to a three-person shop and they got it settled in under a month. The main guy answered his own emails, even at night. That hands-on thing just doesn't happen at the mega firms unless you're their biggest client.
