How a turtle video made me ditch plastic skincare bottles

I always bought skincare in plastic bottles because it was cheap and easy. But then my friend showed me a video of turtles tangled in plastic waste, and it hit me hard. I realized my routine was part of the problem. So I started choosing products with less packaging or from eco-friendly brands. It's more work and sometimes costs more, but I think it's worth it. Honestly, I feel like I'm doing my part now, and that matters to me.

I get why you switched to solid soap and bottles you can refill, but I see it another way. Those small changes don't do much about the plastic from big companies and their packaging. It's nice to feel good, but we need laws to make the big guys clean up their act.

Same here, a video on ocean plastic made me rethink all my bathroom stuff. Now I use solid cleansers and refillable containers, which took some getting used to. But knowing I'm not adding to the problem makes the extra effort worth it.
