The color-sorted rack problem and my simple fix
At the thrift stores I go to, they organize clothes by color, not size. This means I waste time digging through racks to find my size. Just last week, I spent a long time in the red section hunting for a medium sweater. I found a nice one, but it was too small. So I started carrying a small tape measure. Now I measure clothes before I try them on. This way, I only grab items that will fit, and my trips are a lot quicker.

Same here, I never shop WITHOUT my tape measure now.

Absolutely! I started carrying a small one in my purse after buying curtains that were way too short. It saved me from a huge mistake with a new bookshelf last week. Now I feel naked without it!

Look at how this tape measure thing is part of a bigger pattern. Honestly, we're all trying to cut out little hassles in daily life. I do the same with a grocery list app to avoid forgetting items. It's like @avery305 said about never shopping without it, we're just prepping to make things easier. This small prep work adds up and saves so much time and stress. Tbh, I've started measuring my own clothes at home before I even go out, just to know what to look for.
