My friend Amanda bought a specific notebook just for her "Dark Matter" rewatches... she's got like 27 unresolved plot points written in red ink. She watches all three seasons every fall, even though it got canned years ago. It's kind of sad how she still talks about where the story could have gone.

Yeah, that's a really good point to bring up. In my experience, I was glued to the idea of not missing a day. Pushed through some minor twinges and ended up setting myself back for a full week. Forcing rest days into my schedule actually let my muscles recover properly. My balance poses got way more stable, and everything felt less forced. It seems counterintuitive, but backing off a bit was what helped me move forward. Your mileage may vary, but that rest is just part of the work now.

I recall a piece in Decanter where a seasoned taster discussed the 'compliment sandwich' for tough feedback (praise, critique, praise). They argued it preserves relationships while offering constructive points, like suggesting the wine might benefit from more bottle age to soften those tannins. The key was framing critiques as future opportunities, which feels less personal. Another tip from that article was to focus on objective descriptors, like saying 'the tannins are prominent' instead of 'this is bad', which can make the conversation more about shared learning.
