Remember when we mixed all our own greens from blue and yellow?
I used to spend hours getting the right shade. Now with pre-mixed colors, it's faster but less personal. Still, I go back to mixing sometimes for that perfect hue.

Remember trying to mix a decent forest green for a model landscape I was building. Kept adding yellow to blue but it always looked fake, like toy army men. Clark.alex is right about phthalo green being a beast on its own, but blending your own shade from scratch feels like unlocking a secret. That moment when the color finally clicks on the palette is totally its own kind of magic. Makes me want to go mess with my old paint box now.
