inElite Builders vs. River City Renovations? Or someone else?
If you want the professionalism of Elite but with better design vision, check out Hurst Design Build Remodel. We had them do our master suite and they were phenomenal. Not the cheapest guys in town, but the quality and communication were worth every penny.

inHeading to the coast next month, any must-do checks for my hatchback?
Inspect the rubber seals on your doors and hatch. Salt air makes them brittle and they can start to leak. My cousin's car got seawater in the footwell because a door seal failed. Also, check electrical connections under the hood, like battery terminals and sensor plugs. Corrosion there can cause weird issues no one thinks about. A quick clean with a wire brush can save you a headache later.

inNoticing how dress pockets changed from decorative to useful
Watch the cycle come back around. Paige is right about those 18th century pockets being big and useful. Fashion then took a weird turn into fake, tiny pockets that might hold a lipstick if you were lucky. It felt like a punishment for decades. Now we are finally getting real pockets again that can hold a phone and a wallet, and it is about time.

inRant: Our tabletop nights are turning into law school
Feel your pain so much on this one. We had a game night almost die because someone wanted to debate the exact wording of a card for forty minutes. Sometimes you just gotta make a ruling and keep playing or the fun drains right out. Totally agree it's time to lighten up and just roll with it.

inJust realized that skipping all tourist spots might be a mistake
Turns out the Mona Lisa is actually tiny and the Eiffel Tower is just a big metal ladder. But you know what? They're still cool to see in person. Feels like we get tricked into thinking "authentic" travel means only eating gas station sandwiches in empty parking lots. Maybe the truly snobby move is pretending you're too good for a cheesy boat tour.
