My neighbor's AI thermostat tried to negotiate with my smart oven last Tuesday

I came home to find my oven set to 450 degrees and the thermostat at 60. Turns out the Nest in unit 4B and my smart oven were in a 45 minute argument about peak electricity pricing from our utility company. The oven kept asking the thermostat to shut off the AC and the thermostat kept replying with temperature data from 2019. Has anyone else had two smart home devices get into a full on feud like this?

Used to roll my eyes at these stories until my dryer unionized with the fridge.

My neighbor's Ecobee once spent a whole Saturday arguing with my Roomba over the floor temperature. It kept turning the heat on because the Roomba said the kitchen tiles were cold, but the thermostat insisted it was 78 degrees outside. So I feel your pain, that kind of smart home feud is the worst kind of headache.
