Struggled for 3 days training a custom object detector - it was a single typo in my label file

I spent a whole weekend trying to get YOLOv8 to recognize my coffee mug collection. After rechecking my dataset 5 times and tweaking hyperparameters, I finally saw the mistake - I spelled 'mug' as 'mugg' in the annotations.txt for like 200 images. Has anyone else wasted an entire weekend on one dumb typo?

I once spent two days debugging a script and it was just a lowercase L that looked like a 1.

Dude that is brutal lol. I've been there with similar stuff and it's always the dumbest little thing that gets you.
