DAE think the 'ask anything' rule can get too broad?

I read a post here yesterday asking for the best way to clean gutters, which felt off topic. It made me wonder if the community should stay focused on open-ended discussion questions. Where do you draw the line for what fits?

Yeah it can get too loose sometimes lol. Gutter cleaning is a how-to, not a real discussion starter. The line for me is if it sparks debate or personal stories, not just a single right answer.
