Found a technique that beat my old star stacking method hands down

I tried using Sequator for my stacked Milky Way shots and it's way better than the deep sky stacker I've been wrestling with for years. It handled my lens distortion automatically without me having to tweak stuff for an hour. Anyone else switch software and see a big difference?

@claire_wells87 sounds like you had the same jelly ground issue I got with Sequator haha...

Wait are we talking about the same Sequator? I tried it once and the ground ended up looking all wobbly like jelly, not sharp at all. My deep sky stacker definitely takes longer to set up but at least I know what each slider does. The auto distortion fix in Sequator messed up my star shapes near the edges of the frame, gave them a weird stretched look. Sticking with what works for me even if it means more manual work.
