Hit 200 cars this year and my wrist is shot from block sanding
On one hand I'm proud of the volume but on the other hand I'm wondering if I'm wrecking my body for a paycheck, anyone else hit a number that made them stop and question their methods?

wrecking my body for a paycheck" hit me hard. I see this happening all around me now, not just in body shops but everywhere. People are grinding themselves down for jobs that don't care if they can still walk at 60. My neighbor works at a warehouse, and his back is shot from lifting boxes all day, but he feels like he can't say no because the money is decent. And the younger guys in the shop think they're invincible, doing twice the work I did at their age without any thought to what comes later. It's like we're all in this weird race to see how much we can give before our bodies start cashing in the checks. I don't have an answer, but I do know that hitting 200 cars doesn't mean much if you can't even hold a sanding block in a few years.

Damn, that's exactly what I see too and it sucks how hard we have to fight just to survive.
