Rant: My last quarter panel job taught me to stop ignoring filler issues

I had a 2018 Silverado last week in Phoenix where the rear quarter had a dent I thought I smoothed out perfect. After paint, it sunk right in and I had to redo the whole thing. Anyone else deal with hidden low spots that only show up after primer?

Had that exact thing happen on a Ford F-150 last month. So frustrating!

Buddy of mine had the same thing with his Silverado... took him forever to get the dealership to admit it was a known issue. They kept telling him it was normal until he showed them a TSB he found online. Finally got it sorted after three visits, same as your buddy with the Ram.

My buddy had the same thing on his Ram 1500 a couple months back. Took him three trips to the dealership before they finally figured it out.
