The customer who watched me sand for 20 minutes then told me I was doing it wrong
Had a guy pull his old Chevy into my bay last Tuesday, nice truck but the paint was rough. He stood there for 20 minutes while I was wet sanding a section, didn't say a word. Then he goes, 'You know you're supposed to use a block, right?' with this smug tone. I had to take a breath before I reminded him that I've been doing this for 8 years and my hand technique works fine for subtle feathering. Anyone else get customers who think they know your job better than you do?

Oh man, the silent watcher is always the worst. They stand there long enough to make you think they're just curious, then drop the "expert opinion" like a bomb.
