Lost my car for 11 days because the broker in Tampa never told the driver it was mine
I hired a broker out of Tampa back in March to move my son's Honda from Ohio down to him in Florida and paid $850 up front, then watched the pickup date slide four times in two weeks. The driver finally showed on day 11 and admitted he had my number written down wrong, so he had been sitting at a rest stop outside Ocala for three days waiting on a call that never came. How do you all check a broker's actual dispatch before you hand over a card?

Get the DOT and MC numbers, call the carrier direct.
