I finally gave the ramen place on Elm Street a second chance after a bad first date there

So I had this really awkward date at Ramen House on Elm about 6 months ago. My date spent the whole time on her phone and the service was super slow, so I swore I'd never go back. Then last week my buddy dragged me there for lunch and I noticed the owner had completely retrained the waitstaff. They brought out fresh noodles in 5 minutes and the broth was way better than I remembered. Has anyone else had a bad first impression of a place turn around like that?

My first date there was a total disaster too, but then again most of my dates are disasters so it might have been me and not the ramen.

Wait, @felix147, is that the same ramen place where my buddy Mark swore the noodles were sentient and trying to escape his bowl? He spent the whole date trying to fish them out with a napkin, not exactly a great look.

Lol sounds like the noodles had their own escape plan. Maybe the owner hired a new chef who actually knows how to cook instead of whatever was happening before.
