Guest post outreach used to be a numbers game for me, now it's about 10 good targets

Back in 2021 I was sending 100 emails a week to any site with a domain authority over 30. Got maybe 2 responses and both felt spammy. Then I spent a week studying 3 niche blogs in my industry and noticed they only accept articles with original data. I switched to pitching 10 sites a month with custom stats from my own surveys, and my acceptance rate went from 2% to 40%. Anyone else find that quality over quantity finally works for outreach, or are you still blasting lists?
