My aunt gave me a 25 pound bag of powdered milk for Christmas one year
She meant well, she really did. Said it was for emergencies and would last forever. Problem is, I don't drink milk and she gave it to me in 2018. It's still sitting in my garage taking up space because I feel bad throwing it out. Has anyone else gotten a gift that was technically useful but totally wrong for your life?

oh man, I feel this so hard. My grandma once gave me a bread machine because she got two at a church rummage sale. I don't even eat bread, I do keto. That thing sat in my closet for three years before I finally donated it. It's like they think they're helping but it's this massive weight of guilt every time you see it taking up space. I still can't bring myself to throw out her homemade jam either, its from 2019.
