I walked past the old theater downtown and saw they're showing the 2016 'Ghostbusters' again

Seeing that poster made me realize the remake wasn't a bad movie, it just had the impossible job of living up to a perfect 80s comedy, so has anyone else had a remake they hated soften on a rewatch?

It's funny how time can change your view. I had the same thing happen with the Total Recall remake. The real question is, do we hate the movie itself, or just the idea of it replacing a memory?

Honestly, it's just a movie at the end of the day. People get way too worked up about remakes. It's not that deep.

Yeah I used to trash that remake too... but @the_margaret is right, you start to see it as its own thing after a while.
