Finally crushed my 'one episode per night' rule this week

For the last 6 months I only let myself watch 1 episode of a show per night. Then I started The Americans last Tuesday and suddenly it was 3 AM and I had powered through 8 episodes. The next day at work was brutal but honestly I don't regret it. Has anyone else had a show break their self-control like that?

Ha @miamitchell, I told them it was a "mental health day" and hoped they wouldn't ask questions!

Lol "hoped they wouldn't ask questions" is basically the whole strategy. You just toss out the mental health day and pray HR doesn't have a follow-up form. Works like a charm until your boss gets suspicious and wants to chat.
