Blew $60 on a cheap USB microscope to check leaf trichomes and it actually worked
I grabbed one of those $60 plug-in microscopes off Amazon to look at glandular trichomes on my rosemary and mint instead of guessing when to prune. The little thing showed me clear heads on the rosemary but almost nothing on the mint, which explained why my last two cuttings from that plant never rooted well. Has anyone else used one of these cheap scopes, and did it change how you pick which stems to propagate?
