My aunt thought my bullet journal was just a fancy coloring book at family dinner

We were at a family dinner and I had my bullet journal out to jot down some ideas. My aunt peeked over and said, 'Oh, are you coloring in there like a kid?' I explained it's for planning and tracking my tasks (which she totally didn't get). She laughed and told everyone I was doing arts and crafts instead of using my phone. It bugged me because this journal keeps my life together, not just for fun. Like, I have a whole section for my monthly bills that's super clear and helpful. Now I just keep it closed around family to avoid the jokes.

Yeah that's way more organized than my system, which is just a growing pile of unopened envelopes on the kitchen counter. Mine only works if I trip over it and remember I haven't paid anything in two months. I'm pretty sure my power company knows my name by the sound of my panicked phone call.
