I swapped my cheap gas station oil for synthetic at 120k miles and the engine runs totally different now
My old Toyota Camry had 120k miles on it and I was dumping whatever 10W-30 was on sale. A mechanic in Phoenix told me to switch to Mobil 1 synthetic and said the sludge would clear up in 2 oil changes. After 3 months the engine is quieter on startup and seems smoother on the highway. Has anyone else seen a big change switching to synthetic on an older car?

Oh, I used to think that was all hype, but you changed my mind.

Three years ago I swore up and down that cold brew was just overpriced iced coffee for people with more money than sense. Then my buddy dragged me to this little place off Main Street and I had to eat my words hardcore lmao. It's not just stronger, it's like the bitterness is gone and you actually taste the coffee instead of fighting it. Now I brew my own at home with a cheap mason jar setup and it's genuinely changed my mornings. I still think some places charge way too much for it, but I get why people pay now.

Right? The smoothness is what got me too. Homemade is definitely the way to go though.
