PSA: I just passed 1,000 feet of coax pulled in a single attic crawl

Happened yesterday on a rewire job in a big old house in Springfield. The attic was basically a furnace and I had to snake around three different chimney stacks. I kept the counter on my measuring wheel going just to see. When I finally dropped down into the living room wall and saw 1,012 feet, it hit me how much physical work this job actually is, not just the technical side. Anyone else ever track their numbers like that and get surprised?

Wow, that really puts things in a new light. I always thought of the job as mostly about the connections and the testing, the clean finish. But you tracking that number shows the sheer physical effort that comes first. I used to downplay the crawling and pulling part, just a thing you did to get to the real work. Seeing a figure like over a thousand feet makes me admit I was wrong. It's a huge part of the job all by itself.

Over a thousand feet? No way, that's crazy.

So what kind of work hits that number, @lisak26?
