TIL that waiting a day before sharing cancellation posts keeps me out of trouble...

I used to repost every call-out I saw... but it stirred up needless fights with friends. Now I delay and dig a bit, which has cut down on my online stress. How do you decide when to speak up or stay quiet in these debates?

Funny how past me thought being the first to share a hot take was a personality trait. Turns out, most of those 'urgent' call-outs were just poorly sourced rumors I amplified. Now I sit on my hands for 24 hours, and half the time the whole thing has blown over or been debunked. Saves me from having to issue those cringe-worthy 'my bad' apologies to friends.
