I binged all 3 seasons of Hannibal in 6 days hoping the fandom hype was real, and now I can't stop thinking about it
So I finally caved and watched Hannibal after seeing people beg for a season 4 for like 10 years. I figured it got canceled because it fell off, but no, the ratings just weren't there for NBC. I burned through 39 episodes in 6 days, skipped a work happy hour in Austin to finish season 2, and that finale hit me like a truck. Here is the part that bugs me though, it ended on that cliffhanger in 2015 and we still have nothing. I get that Bryan Fuller has a vision and the cast moved on, but if other shows can come back after a decade, why not this one. Do you all think a season 4 is actually possible or is that just fan wishful thinking at this point?
That "hit me like a truck" feeling is so real, I finished season 2 at 2am and just sat there staring at the wall. The wait has been brutal and honestly I'd take a movie at this point.
Oh come on, a movie would be the worst thing they could do. Two hours can't fit what this story needs, you'd just get a rushed mess that skips half the stuff that makes the show good. Idk maybe it's just me but I'd rather wait another year than get a movie version that crams everything in.
