My 2003 Camry with 210k miles and a cracked radiator

I picked up a 2003 Camry from a guy on Craigslist for $800. The radiator was cracked and leaking bad, but the engine ran smooth. I spent $120 on a new radiator and hoses, did the swap in my driveway over a Saturday. Now it's been running perfect for 4 months with no other issues. Is a cracked radiator a no-brainer fix or would you have just junked it for scrap?

Cracked radiator is a total no-brainer fix for that car.

Did you have one crack on you too? Same thing happened to my old Camry last summer and I swapped it out in like an hour. It's one of those jobs where you just look at it and know exactly what needs doing. No special tools or anything needed either, just a basic socket set and a new part from the auto parts store. Honestly I think it's easier than changing the oil on some cars because there's no messing with stupid filters. Definitely saves you hundreds in labor if you can turn a wrench.
